It's official, I have the flu. Hopefully I'm on the upswing, but I'm not sure. I just left my apartment for the first time in two days. I did a little research and apparently marathon training suppresses your immune system. I guess that makes sense - but I was not aware of that. I even read a couple of things that said to stay away from crowds during the tapering phase so you don't get sick. That's not very easy when you're on a plane most weeks for your job. Well, here's hoping this clears up ASAP. Two weeks from tomorrow until marathon day!
